Field planting for potato seeds
The G1 and G2 potato seeds are planted in outdoor field. In this stage, we are not working solely as a potato minitubers breeder, but also as a potato field grower. Seed quality is only one factor of high yield capacity, filed management is another important factor to guarantee a good harvest.

In north China, we have thousands of hectares of field land for G1 and G2 potato seeds planting, in those area, all factors that potato favors are considered:
• Sufficient rain fall, over 400mm per year. With underground water in case of drought.
• Cool temperature, average -5C~ 35C over the year.
• Several months of winter.
• Big day-night temperature fluctuation.
• Sunshine immediately after rains, no continuous rainy season.
• Strong winds
